Propel

Propel is an open-source process mining studio powered by Rust4PM. The same Rust-based engine runs locally in the browser through WebAssembly or as a native desktop application, so event data does not need to leave the user’s device.

Propel supports importing OCEL event logs in XML, JSON, SQLite, CSV, and bundled ZIP formats. It provides both traditional and object-centric process mining features, including directly-follows graphs with performance information, a dotted chart and variant explorer, event-log filters and transformations, alignment-based conformance checking, and editors for Petri nets and object-centric Petri nets. An interactive pipeline connects the available Rust4PM operations for more extensive analyses.

Propel can be used directly at propel.aarkue.eu. Desktop installers and the source code are available in the Propel GitHub repository.

After importing a log or extracting one from a database, panels can be added freely to explore and analyze it: The Propel start screen, with options to open a log or extract one from a table or database
